It has been quiet for a long time, and we have been busy revising the MAT16X8 to make it fit for CE and FCC certification.
Now I have some fantastic news!
I am very pleased to announce that the MAT 16X8 has now successfully undergone and passed the rigorous CE and FCC tests.
This important milestone is crucial because it officially confirms that the prototype is ready for series production and meets all the legal requirements necessary for market entry. This clears the way for the start of mass production, and I am now focusing all my energy on the final preparations for manufacturing.
The time and effort have paid off, and now it is a marketable product. There are still a few things to clarify, but the release date is getting closer.
At the same time, we were also able to make a few improvements. The MIDI input is now compatible with TRS-A and TRS-B, while the outputs remain TRS-A. We also redesigned the headphone amplifier to make it even more powerful. The current version V3 has proven itself again in live use and has always worked without any problems. It is now a finished product and I can’t wait for it to go on sale.
